Christmas... A season to rejoice and be grateful for the gift of life, friends and blessings we receive everyday.
St. Claret School rejoiced today with a colourful celebration on this cold winter morning. The programme began with a prayer and a song to herald the season. A warm welcome was extended to the Chief Guest of the day Rev. Fr. Thomas Thennady, former Principal, St. Claret College who later shared a meaningful message of good will and hope with the crowd of enthusiastic Claretines.
A cute dance number by the adorable angels of nursery and a hip hop by Class VI added a zing to the morning. A nostalgic Nativity Skit by Class VI, directed by Mrs. Joyce and Mrs. Sharon, welcomed the yuletide season. Santa Claus was the star of the day with his happy smile and jolly saunter and sent a thrill through the audience as he distributed sweets during the soulful rendition of carols by our talented Claretine teachers and the Claros band. To add icing to the cake, the classes decorated with Christmas finery were awarded for their creativity, originality and Eco-friendly approach. Among all the awarded Classes, VIII D received the overall championship for the best decorated class.
The Principal extended Christmas greetings and the programme concluded with the National Anthem.
